What is EDM Wire Cutting?
Electrical discharge machine (EDM) wire cutting, also known as spark erosion utilises high voltage electrical arching to remove unwanted material from a part made of non-conductive material.
EDM Wire cutting is useful for producing dies, machining tools, gauges and punches. Additionally, wire cutting can be used to cut keyways precisely.
